Description
Summary:This research shows how contemporary paternal function was established in three (3) adolescents from the city of Cali with superficial self-injurious behaviors between the ages of 15 and 18, with the objective of analyzing some of the characteristics of contemporary paternal function in the selected population. The approach of the present investigation is of qualitative type with a class of study that according to its degree of depth and interest of the investigators is descriptive interpretative. For the collection of information, The Thematic Apperception Test (T.A.T) was applied and a semistructured interview was conducted. The categories used for the next analysis were: maternal relation, paternal relation, norm and law, ideal ego and self-injury that were seen through the psychoanalytic device and theoretical documentation of the same one. This allowed us to identify in the subjects of research what Lacan has called the decline of paternal function, where there is a lack of resources of the order of the symbolic that allows them to elaborate conjunctural situations, limit and direct the enjoyment to the Time to reach adolescence.
