Summary: | The following project consists in the design, application and validation of a musical production methodology, that helps to make special music for users with cochlear implants and seeks to improve the music appreciation of those people. The project is based in previous studies of music perception in people with cochlear implants, those studies are interpenetrated and applied to design a document that contains the methodology, that follows the musical production from its three stages; Preproduction, production, and postproduction, giving step by step how to make special music for people with cochlear implants. Additionally, a validation study of the methodology is carried out, through surveys to musical producers, with which the applicability of the methodology is analyzed. Finally, a music piece is composed following the methodology steps, and a study with a cochlear implant user is made with this music piece, in order to verify the usefulness of the study carried out. |
