Summary:This research paper is part of the risk assessment project within the formulation phase, applied to the case of study to produce longlife chonto tomato, grown in the town of Dolores, Valle del Cauca, developed by Professor Ronald Rojas, who is part of the Project Management Specialization, included in the Industrial Engineering Program from the University of San Buenaventura Cali. The purpose of this research is to design a procedure for risks assesment during the project planning. The method used had a quantitative approach with a non experimental design; to collect the information we generated both a physical and a digiyal database. The results clearly show for risk assessment in the formulation stage, the variables to develop are the risk management plan, the risk identification, the qualitative analysis, and the response and risk control plan.
