Summary:This work, through a documental analysis, looks for a reflexing space generated around the concept of electronic business or e-business and how this grouping of strategies applied to the organization supported in the information technologies and communication impact the pymes in the commercial sector from “Departamento de Antioquia”. To achieve this purpose the work is divided in three moments. First, we did a characterization and a recognition of the context which is going to be diagnosed in its tolerance and posterior adaptation to TIC (information and communication technologies). In the second moment, we identified the diverse strategies under which it is possible to generate recommendations so useful for developing the third moment where we talk about different areas or processes where the electronic business or e-business could be a great impact in Antioquia´s business models. That´s why the goal of this work is to identify the entrepreneurs’ disposition in front of the economic transformation dynamic, oriented to virtual spaces and the web operation, and how according with this profile, it is possible to find particular solutions focused on the TIC to get the objective.
