Description
Summary:Was taken as reference a hypothetical spatial structure that is looking to improve the relationship with respect to resistance to the weight, for which a Structural Tubular Profile (PTE) by fiber-reinforced laminate mechanical theory with the same dimensional characteristics are design would have the PTE Metallic commonly used. A theoretical model that relates the number of necessary layers for a laminate must respond to a given design effort, achieving conclude that PTE Fibroreforzados (Carbon / Epoxy) can meet the design requirements and also achieve a reduction in weight was determined 5 times less compared to a spatial structure of PTE steel A-500 Grade C.
