Description
Summary:The main objective of this study was to analyze the effects of dance as a tool for neuropsychological intervention. The type of this investigation corresponds to the empirical analytical model of cross section through a pre-test post-test investigation design. Participants selected for the pre measurement were twenty (20) children with auto-regulation issues, with ages ranging between 6 and 12 years old (N=9), currently in primary school who have been referred by their teachers to present auto-regulation issues within the classroom. However, only ten (10) children agreed to participate in the intervention program voluntarily. The procedure began with the design of an intervention program based on dance through task analysis, then a preliminary neuropsychological evaluation was performed with the purpose to identify the auto-regulation level of each one of the participants, subsequently this program was implemented and finally the post intervention measurement was performed which determined the effects of it.
