Description
Summary:The objective of this undergraduate work was to build and carry out a pilot study of a proposal for a stereotype assessment scale in school adolescents, which was carried out with 51 ninth grade students from the José Celestino Mutis INEM Educational Institutions of Armenia, Quindío and Henry Marín Granada de Circasia, Quindío, with this scale, it was intended to address the phenomenon of stereotypes in the light of school coexistence. The type of design used was instrumental, a Likert-type scale of 17 items was constructed, the data of which were analyzed through the statistical software JASP (Version 0.14.1.0) and subsequently the consistency of the scale was analyzed using the Omega (ω) of McDonald's and item factor correlation. The results showed that the scale is consistent and reliable. In addition, it is suggested to eliminate item 15, because it can be very obvious for the participants to say that there are people who should not be rejected. Finally, it is recommended that the victim dimension have a separate scale since the reliability results were low.
