| Summary: | This article presents the analysis of the feasibility of the implementation of the Wireless Backhaul (WiBack) technology as an alternative for Internet connection in Colombian places which, because of its location, it is not feasible a connection with optical fiber nodes. Technical and economic aspects are analyzed taking into account the situation in Colombia; however, this study can be applied in countries with low rates of development or even in difficult access rural areas in developed countries. |
