Description
Summary:The purpose of this degree work is to evaluate the impact of the implementation of the ERP PSL Software Sin Fronteras in the company Empaquetados el Trece S.A.S regarding to work environment, as well as identify what the principal benefits are and determining the real cost. For this purpose, a quantitative methodology with descriptive scope and transectional type was applied. A survey completed by system users and organization broad of directors was used as the main instrument; Secondly, the project cost was calculated using established formula for NPV project valuation. In general terms, the software users consider the change necessary and it has been very positive for the company, they have the disposition and capacity to adapt to the new software and they know that this will contribute to the improvement of the operation in general ensuring that information is timely, truthful and free of bias. Nevertheless, it was evident that the project leader selection was not appropriated and the schedule initially established was not fulfilled due to the lack of clarity about needs raised at the beginning of the process. However, it is clear that changing the operative system was successful and will contribute to improving productivity and compliance with the short, medium and long term objectives set by the administration.
