Summary:In this research project the relation is studied between the city of Bogota and the medium basin of the Bogota's river, under the systematic approach, in order to establish strategies of land management for the Colombian capital. The methodological process develops in three gradual stages, which consist of identifying the basis characteristics of the territorial system under analysis for then, identifying and applying a form to establish the above mention relation, and from it, to propose a few strategies that allow to complement the land management of the city. As result, there were three typology different from relation, which allowed to identify 40 relations between the analyzed subjects, that was used like starting point to propose four strategies of land management, expressed considering the versatility of the geographical and environmental engineering to reach port with multi temporary vision, multi objectively and spatially
