With a sociodemographic description of the experimental group (25.33 ± 4.868 years) (1.74 ±, 0699cm) (69.75 ± 7.287 Kg), and the control group (21.42 ± 1.975 years) (1.6908 ± 0) , 06829 cm) (64.7500 ± 2.89592 Kg) belonging to the Chiquinquirá Esmeraldas FCS professional club of Chiquinquirá. All players had previous GE training experience of (5.58 ± 4.814 years), the GC of (2.42 ± 0.515). To measure agility, the Illinois test was used; The intervention was performed for 8 weeks, with 3 weekly sessions lasting 20 minutes each. The data was analyzed with the statistical program SPSS v.2. The results in the experimental group of the pre- and pos showed that P = 0.002 <0.05 which concludes that there is a significant difference of decrease in time from pre to posttest in the application of the Illinois test. The increase in agility in the Experimental group was 8,892% in relation to the increase in agility. Conclusions: although the groups obtained different results, the control group worsened, while the experimental group with the intermittent training program in agility obtained significant improvements.
