Summary:Objective: To determine the factors associated with the lifestyles of students from Universidad del Atlántico. Materials and Methods: a cross-sectional study was conducted, at the Universidad del Atlántico, 380 students were randomly selected. The FANTÁSTICO tool was used to look at the factors that associate these students with different lifestyles. The data processing and analysis was performed with the econometric software SPSS. Results: Sociodemographic characteristics of the students were identified. In terms of age, the average was 21.3 years and the average grade was 3.7; it was determined that 73.6% students spend more than two (2) hours on the computer as well as on the mobile phone; the habits by age range, in the domains of the questionnaire the FANTÁSTICO tool turned out to be statistically significant. With respect to suitable and inappropriate lifestyles, the variables of nutrition, physical activity, personality type, introspection, sleep and stress management, alcohol and other drugs, were statistically significant. Conclusion: The factors that associate students with different lifestyles, sociodemographic and academic characteristics of students were determined and their behaviors were inferred through habits and customs related to health, lifestyles and sedentariness.
