The description of the pleiotropic effects that have been the subject of attention in the scientific community due to its controversy has been evidenced. To date an integrated network of statins is not described and where it acts on proteins, their consequent actions and effects within the human being, by means of bioinformatic tools how to relate the pleiotropic effects, according to the results of biological function within the protein-protein interaction network and the statin molecule. The objective of this work is to build a network of protein - protein interaction with specific data of the molecular structure of statins. The subnets of six statins were reconstructed using STITCH 5.0 and were integrated into Cytoscape 3.5.1 using the Merge function. The integrated network was analyzed using the Network Ramdomizer plugin. Statistical degree (k), intermediation (BC), centrality (CC), Strees and Clustering Coefficient were obtained using the NetworkAnalyzer plugin. The degree of functional richness was determined using the MCODE and BiNGO plugins. It was determined that the networks obtained for each statin can interact with about 30 human protein proteins each; The integrated network consisted of 34 nodes and 124 connections. Statins act in the regulation of lipid metabolism, possible secondary targets were identified that could be involved in cellular processes such as vasodilation, anticoagulation, apoptosis, cell differentiation, cell cycle control, immunomodulation.As conclusions of the study, statins affect biological processes beyond lipid metabolism, acting on vasodilation, anticoagulation and cellular apoptosis, indicating that they may be related to the pleiotropic effects of the pharmacological group. |

Se ha evidenciado la descripción de los efectos pleiotrópicos que han sido tema de atención en la comunidad científica por su controversia. A la fecha no está descrita una red integrada de las estatinas y donde actúa sobre las proteínas, sus consecuentes acciones y efectos dentro del ser humano, por medio de herramientas bioinformáticas el cómo poder relacionar los efectos pleiotrópicos, de acuerdo a los resultados de función biológica dentro de la red de interacción proteína - proteína y la molécula de las estatinas. El objetivo de este trabajo es Construir una red de interacción proteína – proteína con datos puntuales de la estructura molecular de las estatinas. Las subredes de seis estatinas fueron reconstruidas usando STITCH 5.0 y fueron integradas en Cytoscape 3.5.1 usando la función Merge. La red integrada fue analizada usando el plugin Network Ramdomizer. Se obtuvieron los estadísticos grado (k), intermediación (BC), la centralidad (CC), Strees y Clustering Coefficient empleando el plugin NetworkAnalyzer. El grado de riqueza funcional se determinó usando los plugins MCODE y BiNGO. Se determinó que Las redes obtenidas para cada estatina pueden llegar a interactuar con cerca de 30 proteínas proteínas humanas cada una; la red integrada estuvo conformada por 34 nodos y 124 conexiones.
