La atención domiciliaria en los sistemas de salud de México, Argentina, Brasil y Colombia

This paper aims to describe the health systems of Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, determining the development in home care, identifying the roles of the health team, emphasizing the actions of the management of chronic diseases as frequent: degenerative, cardiovascular, obesity, diabetes and climatic diseases of external causes. Material and method: it is a monographic type study, a review of scientific articles in database such as: SciELO, LILACS, ProQuest, Google, through descriptors of the health system of countries related to the search, domiciliary care, palliative care , were systematized in a RAE table in Microsoft Excel where they were semaphorized through the classification according to the level of interest with the search of the problem question with the following inclusion criteria, articles that address the subject of health systems in Latin America of Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, health care and domicile in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia and home care in Latin America, in Spanish and Portuguese, published during the period covered (2004-2017). Results: The search has 55 articles, where 23 met the inclusion criteria, it was found that countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia have similar health systems such as the public and private sectors, regulatory and control entities, service provision and financing of the health system, where home care is established in home care programs, but the role of the health team in home care Conclusions: The health systems that include the home care program have proven to be an efficient tool that facilitates patient follow-up and allows an adequate record of both the patient's progress and the activities performed at the home, through of palliative care at home, ideally with a multiprofessional work team that has the capacity to deal with all areas of the health status of people.
