Estudio descriptivo de intoxicaciones por marihuana (Cannabis) notificadas en Bogotá D. C., entre los años 2008 a 2016

Cannabis use goes back to the beginnings of mankind attributing several uses, among which are recognized to alleviate ailments, to gain a social stratum among others as recreational use; However, it is necessary to recognize that the consumption of this substance increases and with this also the cases of emergencies in the health establishments having to treat then as a public health problem. The present research work compiled and analyzed data on intoxications caused by the use of marijuana (cannabis) and its mixtures with other substances between the years 2008 to 2016 reported in Bogota DC in order to describe this type of events, obtaining as a result that this problem Affects people between 15 and 24 years of age with a majority of elementary schooling in strata 1 and 2, additional is the poly consumption or mixtures observed in reports of cannabis poisonings where the most frequent was cannabis and alcohol followed by Cannabis with cocaine from these results is proposed an audiovisual piece for educational purposes for the community in general and an article is made to be published with general information on cannabis use and symptoms of intoxication.
