Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2019A partir de un diagnostico localizado en el area metropolitana de centro occidente (AMCO), se encuentra problematicas en los usos del suelo y origen de la vivienda relacionadas con la gestion del agua, como resultado a esto se da la necesidad de hacer un estudio a la ECO REGION con respecto al recurso hidrico que actualmente tienen problemas en la gestion integral de los recursos ambientales como vertimientos, riesgos y abastecimiento. De acuerdo con el analisis realizado, se centra la investigacion en el municipio de Dosquebradas, ya que se encuentra un conflicto en la gestion del recurso en todas sus fases, ademas de conocer diferentes situaciones como podrían ser la inexistencia de un sistema de tratamiento de agua para la potabilizacion lo que genera la compra de agua en bloque; la urbanizacion acelerada por dinamicas de ciudad dormitorio y la ubicación de viviendas en zonas de riesgo por inundacion; el uso del suelo propuesto es diferente al existente, todo esto dando como resultado el ciclo integral del recurso hidrico. Como resultado al analisis hecho en esta zona, se centra el estudio en la vereda Frailes que pertenece a la zona de expansion del municipio y tiene problemas en la distribucion del recurso hidrico, ya que por su desmesurado crecimiento de la poblacion no ha logrado abastecer a todos sus habitantes supliendo sus necesidades basicas. ABSTRACT: There is a diagnostic located in the metropolitan area of the western center (AMCO), where it is problematic in the land uses and the origin of the dwelling, it is related to the water management, there is also the need to do a study to the ECO REGION in the management of environmental resources such as dumping, risks and supply.
