Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2021Este proyecto está orientado hacia procesos que procuren salvaguardar los valores culturales y simbólicos de la comunidad Embera Chamí entendiendo el rol fundamental de la mujer indígena en la protección, preservación y difusión de la cultura tradicional inmaterial. En el siguiente proyecto y bajo el marco de la investigación IUMA se propuso trabajar con 30 mujeres del cabildo indígena kurmadó de la ciudad de Pereira. La metodología de diseño utilizada como base teórica, conceptual y ruta para la elaboración de este proyecto es el Diseño participativo, que permite entender las necesidades del contexto de manera amplia y propone en cada punto la creación en conjunto con el usuario como actor fundamental para la propuesta de posibles soluciones y permitió por medio de procesos creativos colaborativos evidenciar, recopilar, someter a procesos de comprobación y posteriormente diseñar un medio impreso y digital para la divulgación de los diferentes símbolos encontrados en la expresión artesanal y formas de vida de la comunidad. / Abstract: This project is oriented towards processes that seek to safeguard the cultural and symbolic values of the Embera Chamí community, understanding the fundamental role of indigenous women in the protection, preservation and dissemination of intangible traditional culture. In the following project and under the framework of the IUMA research, it was proposed to work with 30 women from the Kurmadó indigenous council of the city of Pereira. The design methodology used as a theoretical, conceptual basis and route for the development of this project is Participatory Design, which allows us to understand the needs of the context in a broad way and proposes at each point the creation in conjunction with the user as a fundamental actor for the proposal of possible solutions and llowed through collaborative creative processes to evidence, collect, submit to verification processes and later design a printed and digital medium for the dissemination of the different symbols found in the artisanal expression and ways of life of the community.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
