The researchtakes the senses emerging from the discourses of teachers,which allow daily value and recognize the representationsthat motivate, give meaning, direction and purpose to theirwork, personal and spiritual actions.The research is a qualitative approach, the study design isbased on the Action Research Participation and focusesthe need to look back to teachers to enhance his work andespecially his personhood, for which some techniques areused as workshops and autobiographiesEste artículo presenta resultados de una investigación realizada con maestros de tres instituciones educativas del tercer sector del municipio de Dosquebradas (Risaralda). Estos docentes refl exionaron permanentemente en torno a la visibilización de la construcción del sentido de sí, con el propósito de enaltecer su propia capacidad transformadora y la de su entorno. La investigación retoma los sentidos que emergen de los discursos de los maestros, los cuales permiten diariamente valorar y reconocer las representaciones que motivan, dan significado, dirección e intención a sus acciones laborales, personales - y - espirituales.
