El siguiente estudio de factibilidad del proyecto denominado Hogar de Trascendencia, hace énfasis en la creación de un espacio que aborda la preocupación por el impacto ambiental generado por los cementerios tradicionales y busca ofrecer alternativas más sostenibles y respetuosas con el medio ambiente para la gestión de los restos mortales. En la actualidad, los cementerios tradicionales pueden causar contaminación del suelo y del agua debido a los materiales utilizados en la construcción de tumbas y ataúdes, así como la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero durante la descomposición de los cuerpos. Además, existe la falta de espacios en los cementerios existentes, lo que ha llevado a precios elevados en los servicios y la necesidad de construir nuevos cementerios con las mismas prácticas tradicionales. El contexto en Colombia muestra problemas como la falta de espacios en los cementerios, la falta de regulación en los cementerios privados y la contaminación en las fuentes de agua subterráneas debido a la inhumación de cadáveres. También se destaca el crecimiento del mercado de mascotas en el país y la necesidad de servicios funerarios adecuados para ellos. Ante estos problemas, surge la idea de crear Hogar de Trascendencia, que se preocupe por minimizar la huella ecológica y promover prácticas sostenibles en la gestión de los restos mortales enfocándose en la factibilidad de crear un espacio natural donde se puedan sembrar árboles con las cenizas de los seres queridos, tanto humanos, como animales. Este espacio se basaría en principios y estrategias que incluyen la elección de materiales y técnicas de construcción amigables con el medio ambiente, así como prácticas funerarias más naturales y respetuosas con la tierra, permitiendo no solo proteger el medio ambiente, sino también honrar la memoria de las personas fallecidas de una manera consciente y respetuosa. Es así como Hogar de Trascendencia busca ofrecer un espacio emocional y ambientalmente positivo, donde la muerte no sea vista como el final, sino como un nuevo comienzo. Se pretende crear un entorno natural, con senderos peatonales, parqueaderos y áreas dedicadas a honrar a los seres queridos junto a los árboles plantados. Este proyecto busca cambiar la percepción tradicional de los cementerios, ofreciendo un lugar de celebración, espiritualidad y conexión con la naturaleza. Abstract: The following feasibility study of the project called Hogar de Transcendencia, emphasizes the creation of a place that approach the concern for the environmental impact generated by traditional cemeteries and seeks to offer more sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives for the management of the mortal remains. Currently, traditional cemeteries can cause earth and water pollution due to the materials used in the construction of graves and coffins, as well as the emission of greenhouse gases during the decomposition of bodies. In addition, there is a lack of space in existing cemeteries, which has led to high prices for services and the need to build new cemeteries with the same traditional practices. The context in Colombia presents problems such as the lack of space in cemeteries, the absence of regulation in private cemeteries, and pollution in groundwater sources due to burial. The growth of the pet market in the country and the need for appropriate funeral services for them are also highlighted. Faced with these problems, the idea of creating Hogar de Transcendencia arises, which is concerned with minimizing the ecological footprint and promoting sustainable practices in the management of mortal remains, focusing on the feasibility of creating a natural space where trees can be planted with the ashes of loved ones, both human and animal. This place would be based on principles and strategies that include the choice of materials and construction techniques that are friendly to the environment, as well as more natural and earth-friendly funeral practices, allowing not only to protect the environment, but also to honor the memory of the deceased in a conscientious and respectful manner. This is how Hogar de Transcendencia seeks to offer an emotionally and environmentally positive place, where death is not seen as the end of the journey, but as a new beginning. It is intended to create a natural environment, with walkways, parking lots and areas dedicated to honoring family and friends along with the planted trees.
