Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2021El proceso investigativo inicia con el reconocimiento, conceptualización y caracterización de grupos minoritarios y fenómenos migratorios en los departamentos de Caldas, Risaralda, Chocó y Quindío donde se analiza e interpreta el rol de los grupos minoritarios en las dinámicas y procesos de transformación de la Ecorregión Eje Cafetero, la cual ha presenciado transformaciones físico - espaciales y socioculturales de manera histórica las cuales se han venido intensificando desde el año 2011 trayendo consigo aspectos positivos y negativos como la perdida de arraigo por la cultura cafetera y agrícola desencadenada especialmente por la migración de la población joven a los cascos urbanos. Entendiendo este panorama se toma como territorio de estudio a la vereda El Rhin (Armenia – Quindío) dado que durante el proceso investigativo se determinó como uno de los lugares que menos se conserva esta cultura y donde por medio de estrategias de relevo generacional se busca recuperarla y conservarla. /Abstract: The research process begins with the recognition, conceptualization and characterization of minority groups and migratory phenomena in the departments of Caldas, Risaralda, Chocó and Quindío, where the role of minority groups in the dynamics and transformation processes of the Eje Cafetero Ecoregion is analyzed and interpreted, This region has historically witnessed physical, spatial and socio-cultural transformations that have been intensifying since 2011, bringing with them positive and negative aspects such as the loss of roots for the coffee and agricultural culture, especially triggered by the migration of the young population to the urban centers.
