Outsourcing may suppose an effective strategy in lowering cost and increasing benefit and time; however, not in all cases ensures an increase in quality. The directors of the educational institution studied, from a missionary, and strategic thinking, differentiate between necessary and lucrative benefits, and decide to reverse outsourcing.La externalización de procesos, o Outsourcing, es considerada una herramienta esencial para las empresas que buscan nuevos mercados y aumentar su tasa de rentabilidad. Se elige entre dos opciones: la internalización o la externalización de procesos, dependiendo de si las condiciones de operación de un servicio resultan más favorables si las realiza bajo su jerarquía y organización, que si las subcontrata con otra empresa. La subcontratación puede suponer una estrategia efectiva en cuestión de disminución de costo y aumento de beneficio y tiempo; sin embargo, no en todos los casos asegura un aumento en calidad.
