| Summary: | It is tried to establish in this article the relation among the entrepreneural history and its contribution to the comprehension of the processes of regional economic development. It is also done a revision of the explanations of the development from the neoclassical thought, the contributions of Schumpeter and other models such as the theory of the transaction costs, the agency and the new institutionalism. As a second topic, an observation about the studies of the entrepreneural history in Colombia is done, giving more emphasis to the “Coffee region” and specially to Pereira, with the purpose of indicating the importance and the contribution of the theoretical models in the interpretation of the historical processes about our economical and entrepreneural development. |
