Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2009Siempre han existido asentamientos urbanos, suburbanos y rurales en los cuales se evidencian una gran falencia en el cumplimiento de las principales necesidades particulares y colectivas; la inadecuación en vivienda, centros médicos y educativos, en espacios públicos de libre esparcimiento, en vías y espacios dedicados a la prestación de servicios comerciales; sumados a factores de alto riesgo generados por agentes naturales; dan fe de la falta de planeación y la poca visualización que se da en muchos ocasiones. Es el caso particular que se da en la ciudad de Pasto-Colombia con las comunidades de Mapachico y Genoy, las cuales se encuentran en una situación de extrema vulnerabilidad con la actividad del volcán Galeras. Por lo cual se da la necesidad de realizar un reasentamiento de las mismas; con el fin de evitar un desastre de grandes proporciones con la actividad sísmica del volcán o incluso con una erupción del mismo. Situaciones como esta se convierten en una de las princi pales razones de ser en el desempeño profesional de los Arquitectos y Arquitectos en Formación, los cuales están llamados a generar soluciones Arquitectónicas de desarrollo sustentable a través de las cuales se consoliden las bases y mecanismos para la elaboración de Vivienda Social Digna, que cumpla con las necesidades de una comunidad definida y determinada por su propia cultura. Se hace entonces necesaria la aplicación de los conceptos generados a partir del análisis contextual, las técnicas, y el estudio de materiales y tecnologías adecuadas, en aras de diseñar propuestas viables, las cuales en su ejecución generen en su totalidad la mayor satisfacción de aquello que se hace preciso cumplir al individuo y a la comunidad. Por lo tanto un arquitecto siempre debe saber analizar en una situación problemática como la vivida por la comunidad intervenida, la importancia de su identidad colectiva, y hacer de la arquitectura un aspecto facilitador para que la comunidad no pierda esa definición, saber que en el planteamiento de proyectos como el presente, hay que reconocer que la comunidad tiene un origen social e individual el cual se debe ver reflejado en la propuesta de equipamientos colectivos, y muy especialmente en los hogares que allí se deseen establecer. / Abstract: There have always been urban settlements, suburban and rural areas in which evidence of a flaw in the satisfaction of the individual and collective needs; inadequate housing, medical and educational centers, free public recreational spaces, routes and commercial spaces; and high risk factors generated by natural agents; show the lack of planning and visualization that occurs in many occasions. This case happens in the Colombian city of Pasto; in the communities Mapachino and Genoy, which are in a situation of extreme vulnerability to the volcanic activity of the Galeras. Therefore there is the need for a resettlement of the same, in order to avoid a major disaster with the seismic activity of the volcano or even an eruption of it. Situations like this will become one of the main reasons for being in the professional performance of the architects and the architecture students, which are required to generate solutions for sustainable development architectural through which consolidated the bases and the mechanisms for the development of a worthy Social Housing, that meets the needs of a community determined by their own culture. It is then necessary to apply the concepts generated from contextual analysis, techniques and study of materials and technologies, to design viable proposals, that their implementation will generate a whole the greatest satisfaction of what is necessary to meet the individual and the community.
