La metodología aplicada considera un enfoque orientado a procesos y comprende la planificación de sistemas de información incluyendo el desarrollo de aquellos proyectos de sistemas que reflejen una mejor estructura organizacional. Se realiza una etapa que consiste en analizar los procesos misionales de cada uno de los departamentos que conforman la universidad y el papel que juega cada uno de estos en el logro de los objetivos institucionales. Se hace un estudio de las diferentes dimensiones y estructuras de los sistemas de información con los que actualmente cuenta la UCPR y las necesidades que estos presentan, para luego proporcionar un modelo de sistemas de información que representa la visualización a futuro identificando la prioridad de estos para la toma de decisiones. Se propone un plan de acción donde se determina el alcance de los proyectos de sistemas de información, definiendo las tareas/actividades, teniendo en cuenta fechas de inicio y finalización, adaptando una gráfica de Gantt de cada uno de los proyectos planteados; al tener datos tan concretos de los tiempos y actividades es necesario hacerle seguimiento al plan de acción, por tanto se propone un plan de mantenimiento con su respectivo formato donde el director del plan de sistemas de información puede realizar la evaluación del avance de los proyectos.\ Abstract: The proposal of the Information Systems Plan for the Universidad Católica Popular Del Risaralda, which is carried out taking into consideration the methodology known as “Metric Version 3”, intends to become in a short and medium term, the main procedure, the institution wants to project in all those aspects related to communication and information technologies (ICT). The methodology applied considers an approach oriented to processes, and takes into account the information systems planning, including the development of those systems projects that reflect an organizational structure. There is a first step which consists of analyzing every mission process within every department that compose the university, and the role they play in the achievement of the institutional objectives. A study of the different dimensions and structures of information systems is done, in order to identify those the university has nowadays, and the needs they might have, so that a new information system model is proposed, which represents the visualization for the future, identifying its priority when taking decisions. It is also proposed an action plan to determine the reach of Information Systems Project, defining the activities/tasks, taking into account the dates for the beginning and the end, adapting a Gannt´s graphic for each one of the proposed projects. Having data so concrete about timetables and activities, it is necessary to keep track of the action plan; that is why a maintenance plan with its respective format is proposed, where the director of the information systems plan, can evaluate the progress of the project.Universidad Católica Popular del Risaralda.
