Objetivo: La presente investigación pretende determinar el estado del arte frente a los instrumentos existentes que miden agresión, ira y violencia. Método: La investigación se desempeñó mediante la verificación sistemática implementando el método prisma y empleando distintas bases de datos; Scopus, Sage Journals, ScienceDirect, Scielo y Web of Science. Resultados: se seleccionaron 115 artículos por relevancia temática, encontrando que los instrumentos más utilizados son el Cuestionario de agresión de Buss y Perry, Cuestionario de agresión reactiva y proactiva-RPQ, STAXI-2, Conflict Tactics Scale y herramientas cualitativas como entrevistas y grupos focales. Conclusiones. La violencia, la agresión o la ira no se evalúan cómo constructos unificados, sino que se encuentran conformados por diferentes componentes. Cabe resaltar que, el empleo de instrumentos de medición de distintos fenómenos relacionados con la violencia, ira y agresión también aportan teóricamente, lo que posibilita que los programas de intervención puedan estar mejor guiados y orientados dependiendo de su especificidad. Finalmente, resulta relevante resaltar que la ambigüedad en las definiciones de los constructos de ira, agresión y violencia dificulta medirlos con exactitud, lo cual afecta su comprensión, tratamiento y prevención. /Abstract: Due to the social impact of aggression, anger and violence, various doctrines such as psychology, genetics, sociology, criminology, neurology and philosophy, among others, study how to explain and predict them. Objective: The present investigation tries to determine the state of the art in front of the existing instruments that measure aggression, anger and violence. Method: The research was carried out through systematic verification, implementing the prism method and using different databases; Scopus, Sage Journals, ScienceDirect, Scielo, and Web of Science. Results: 115 articles were selected by thematic relevance, finding that the most used instruments are the Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire, the Reactive and Proactive Aggression Questionnaire-RPQ, STAXI-2, Conflict Tactics Scale and qualitative tools such as interviews and focus groups. . Conclusions. Violence, aggression or anger are not evaluated as unified constructs, but are made up of different components. It should be noted that the use of instruments for measuring different phenomena related to violence, anger and aggression also contribute theoretically, which enables intervention programs to be better guided and oriented depending on their specificity.
