description Business crises situations are to be expected due to the high level of interdependent systems that characterize the environment. The mainstream of thought for business management has focused on preventing crises from identifying causal relationships between system variables; but to date it has not produced the expected results. The sciences of complexity have proposed that the best alternative to overcome the crisis is the adaptability of the system through self-organization; however, the business context research is in early stages and there are no models and / or empirical evidences to corroborate the strength of these ideas. The article proposes the design of a model for self-organization business in order to overcome the crisis. The proposal raises implications for new ways of managing business organizations, and especially for the solution of the crisis.

La corriente de pensamiento dominante para la gestión empresarial se ha enfocado en prevenir las crisis a partir de la identificación de relaciones causales entre las variables del sistema; sin embargo a la fecha no ha generado los resultados esperados. Las ciencias de la complejidad han planteado que la mejor alternativa para superar las crisis, es la adaptabilidad del sistema a través la auto-organización; sin embargo en el contexto empresarial la investigación se encuentra en etapas tempranas y no existen modelos y/o evidencias empíricas que permitan corroborar la fuerza de estas ideas. El artículo propone el diseño de un modelo para la auto-organización empresarial que permita superar las crisis. La propuesta genera implicaciones respecto a nuevas vías para la gestión de las organizaciones empresariales, y en especial para la solución de las crisis.As crises empresariais são situações previsíveis devido ao alto nível de sistemas interdependentes que caracterizam seu ambiente. A corrente de pensamento dominante para a gestão empresarial está enfocada para prevenir as crises a partir da identificação de relações causais entre as variáveis do sistema; entretanto até os dias de hoje não alcançou os resultados esperados. As ciências da complexidade propuseram que a melhor alternativa para superar as crises, é a adaptabilidade do sistema através da auto-organização, entretanto no contexto empresarial a pesquisa se encontra em fase inicial e não existem modelos e/ou evidencias empíricas que permitam confirmar a força destas ideias. O artigo propõe o desenho de um modelo para a auto-organização empresarial que permita superar as crises.
