Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2009El proyecto resuelve una necesidad tan elemental para la sociedad, su estructura y organización como lo es la vivienda, en este caso, específicamente para Genoy y Mapachico, cabeceras corregimentales de la Ciudad de Pasto, ubicadas sobre el altiplano sur de Colombia, en la Cordillera de Los Andes; la causal de ubicación de este proyecto nace de las condiciones de riesgo en las que se encuentran estas comunidades, por su proximidad ante el Volcán Galeras, se encuentran localizadas dentro de la Zona Volcánica de Alto Riesgo, siendo prioritario para estas, realizar un proceso de reasentamiento que les brinde hábitat, en términos desarrollo colectivo, y cualidades de espacialidad pública, que retomen los referentes y soluciones de esta materialidad respecto a sus lugares de origen, siendo el volcán el principal referente cultural de todo el Valle de Atriz. Las soluciones de diseños de asentamiento y vivienda se dan en consecuencia con estos principios, y responden adicionalmente a todo el proceso de diagnóstico y análisis que se especifica en el documento; el resultado se materializa en una unidad de vivienda que reinterpreta el lenguaje de la casa típica Andina y tecnifica sus aspectos constructivo y estructural, optimizando sus cualidades especiales, a través del principio de conservación de la energía. / Abstract: (The projec tsolves a basic need of the society, its structure and organization as housing means, in this case, specifically for Genoy and Mapachico, acouple of townheaders, founded around Pasto City, located on the southern highlands of Colombia, in the Andes; the grounds for the location of this project arises from the risk conditions in which these communities are, by their proximity to the volcano Galeras, they are located within the Volcanic High Risk Zone, remain apriority for these, carry out a process of resettlement that gives them habitat, either collective zone of development, and qualities for the public spaciality and services, which resumes the references and solutions of their situation, in respect to their origin places, since the volcano's main cultural reference around the Atriz Valley.
