Pereira, 2021El carácter del cristiano es uno de los aspectos que más trato nuestro Señor Jesús, su gran interés era que sus discípulos fueran para este mundo, sal y luz, portadores de su gracia y amor. Se espera que el creyente sea un modelo a seguir debido a que sigue los pasos de su maestro, pero es una realidad que el pueblo de Dios carece del amor hacia el prójimo, hacia el más necesitado y cada uno vela por sus propios intereses. Es aquí donde la falta de carácter se evidencia, es esta falencia la que hace que exista entre nosotros la empatía por el que sufre, el egoísmo, la envidia, la falta de perdón y otros males. El Sermón de Monte que Jesús impartió a sus discípulos, tiene como objetivo la transformación del creyente, fortaleciendo su carácter para que este sea un digno representante del Reino de los Cielos. Abstract: The Christian character is one of the aspects that our Lord Jesus Christ taught and spoke; His great emphasis was that His disciples; that they were salt and light to this world, carrying His grace and loves everywhere. The believer is expected to be a role model because he is a follower of his Master, but it is a real fact that among the people of God there is a lack of love for one another especially for those in need. This is because everyone thinks only of themselves. It is here where the lack of character is evident; this makes empathy a fact between us for those who suffer and also that selfishness, enmity, unforgiveness and other bad things exist between us. The Sermon on the Mount that Jesus gave to his disciples aims to transform the believer, strengthen his character so that this believer is a worthy ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
