Por ende, el objetivo de esta investigación se encuentra en indagar, conocer y evidenciar cómo se producen los sentidos subjetivos en estas mujeres. Esta investigación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo haciendo uso del método hermenéutico dialéctico, ya que este nos permite recuperar las experiencias de los individuos por medio de la palabra para analizarlas, comprenderlas e interpretarlas sin perder su sentido. Con esta investigación, se logra dar cuenta entonces de los sentidos subjetivos, es decir, las diversas formas en las que emerge la expresión de lo simbólico y emocional que atraviesa a estas mujeres que han decidido someterse a intervenciones quirúrgicas. Abstract: The following article presents the results of research on how women who have undergone cosmetic surgery have appropriated the discourses around the body and gender roles present in their social and cultural context. Therefore, the objective of this research is to investigate, know and show how the subjective senses are produced in these women. This research had a qualitative approach using the dialectical hermeneutic method, since this allows us to recover the experiences of individuals through the word to analyze, understand and interpret them without losing their meaning. With this research, it is possible to account for the subjective meanings, that is, the various forms in which the expression of the symbolic and emotional that goes through these women who have decided to undergo surgical interventions emerges.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
