Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2019El trabajo consta de entender el territorio de la ciudad de Pereira, identificando sus dinámicas urbanas, sus potencialidades y debilidades, permitiendo generar planteamientos que respondan a las necesidades con que cuenta de la manera más adecuada. Para esto se comienza recopilando información que permita dar un mayor conocimiento sobre la historia del territorio, desde su primer asentamiento, hasta los tiempos actuales. A partir de esta base de datos se comienzan a identificar potencialidades y debilidades del territorio, los cuales permiten proponer criterios de intervención, dando respuesta a los requerimientos del sector, teniendo como base fundamental la visión sistémica de la ciudad, de tal manera que responda a todas las escalas del territorio. A partir del planteamiento de los criterios de intervención se genera el modelo de un sector de la ciudad el cual cuente con los planteamientos establecidos previamente, de tal manera que sea ejemplo de la manera de proceder del desarrollo de la ciudad bajo las premisas de ciudad compacta y sistémica. ABSTRACT: The work consists of the terms of the territory of the city of Pereira, identifying its urban dynamics, its potentialities and weaknesses, which translates into the response to the needs with the account in the most appropriate manner. For this, we begin by gathering information that allows us to better understand the history of the territory, from its first settlement, to the current times. From this database we begin to identify potentialities and weaknesses of the territory, which allow us to propose intervention criteria, responding to the requirements of the sector, having as a fundamental basis the systemic vision of the city, in such a way that it responds to all the scales of the territory.
