El estudio de tipo cualitativo – descriptivo, toma el diario de campo, la observación participante y los resultados de la prueba inicial y final de una lectura comprensiva, como elementos para abordar la situación problémica planteada: Narrativas en contexto, una estrategia para el fortalecimiento de la comprensión lectora. Las bases teóricas abordadas fueron los aportes hechos por Colomer (2005) y Bruner (1991) teniendo las categorías de comprensión lectora y narrativa como líneas que orientaron la investigación. La experiencia concluye en que el uso de la lectura multimedial en el aula favorece el interés por la lectura y facilita el desarrollo de habilidades de comprensión en los estudiantes de grado primero, mientras que el texto lineal, genera menos motivación por la lectura viéndose así disminuida la competencia en comprensión./Abstract:The present work arises from a latent need in the school context combining the role of student of the specialization in Edumatics with that of researcher in the classroom. The qualitative-descriptive study takes the field diary, the participantobservation and the results of the initial and final tests of a comprehensive reading, as elements to address the problem situation posed: Narratives in context, a strategy for strengthening reading comprehension. The theoretical bases addressed were the contributions made by Colomer, T (2005) and Bruner, J (1991), having the categories of reading and narrative comprehension as lines that guided the investigation.
