Se realiza un análisis de los imaginarios sociales presentes en los funcionarios de las entidades, Policía Nacional y Fiscalía General de la Nación, sobre los jóvenes infractores. Este se construye a través de la interpretación que las autoras dan sobre el término imaginario social, resaltando cuatro categorías que ayudan a la construcción del mismo; Irrealidad, Historicidad, Principios y Sentidos. Se adopta como diseño central la etnografía, empleando como técnica la entrevista semi estructurada. Los hallazgos encontrados dieron forma a imaginarios sociales que presentan discordancia al momento de perfilar al joven infractor. Por otro lado se encuentra una diferencia entre ambas instituciones al momento de intervenir con esta población basándose esta diferencia en la experiencia adquirida por medio de su labor. Abstract: The objective is to provide a new psychological look at the image of the young offender in the city of Pereira. An analysis is made of the social imaginaries present in the officials of the entities, the National Police and the Attorney General of the Nation, about young offenders. This is built through the interpretation that the authors give on the imaginary social term, highlighting four categories that help the construction of it; Unreality, Historicity, Principles and Senses. Ethnography is adopted as the central design, using the semi-structured interview as a technique. The findings found gave shape to social imaginaries that present discordance when shaping the young offender.
