Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2022El desarrollo de este proyecto aportara a entender lo importante que ha sido para los egipcios, su sociedad y su desarrollo a través de la historia, el entender la muerte como una extensión de la vida y no como el final de esta. Comprendiendo, además, las diferentes razones concretas del por qué ha sido tan llamativa su cultura con relación a los rituales para con sus fallecidos. Adicionando, claro, el cómo se presenta esta cultura por medio de sus estructuras y construcciones arquitectónicas que, ciertamente son muy definidas. El texto que se presenta tiene como objetivo principal, mostrar un listado de referencias históricas referentes a una sociedad que, integradas a un estudio arquitectónico de carácter rígido y que con su desarrollo permitirá responder a varios interrogantes. Entre estos ¿el cómo se relaciona una cultura y sus procesos mortuorios con unas estructuras físicas? Para dar respuesta a lo anterior, se diseña una investigación documental, basada en el cómo la cultura islámica en la ciudad El Cairo, ejecuta sus rituales sagrados y cómo los representan en varias etapas dentro de una construcción estrictamente definida. Es un tipo de investigación documental, es decir, se hace una revisión de diferentes textos (de fundamentación teórica en materia de ritual mortuorio dentro de la religion islámica) encontrados gracias al instrumento de recolección de datos principal, el cual fue un buscador netamente académico encontrado en internet. Se incluye también un tipo de investigación de carácter cualitativo, basado más en la descripción y subjetividad de lo descrito en los textos, que en la analítica del mismo. Con el proyecto que se presenta, se da a entender que, si es posible por medio del objeto arquitectónico, transmitir y materializar un ritual funerario con el que es posible generar y transmitir emociones partiendo desde elementos de ornamentación propuestos en el proyecto. / Abstract: The development of this project will allow us to understand how important it has been for the Egyptians, their society and their development throughout history, to understand death as an extension of life and not as the end of it. Also understanding the different specific reasons why their culture has been so striking in relation to rituals for their deceased. Adding, of course, how this culture is presented through its structures and architectural constructions, which are certainly very well defined. The text that is presented has as its main objective, to show a list of historical references referring to a society that, integrated into an architectural study of a rigid nature and that with its development will allow answering several questions. Among these, how is a culture and its mortuary processes related to physical structures? To respond to the above, documentary research is designed, based on how the Islamic culture in the city of Cairo performs its sacred rituals and how they represent them in various stages within a strictly defined construction. It is a type of documentary research, that is, a review is made of different texts (with a theoretical foundation in terms of mortuary ritual within the Islamic religion) found thanks to the main data collection instrument, which was a purely academic search engine found In Internet. A type of qualitative research is also included, based more on the description and subjectivity of what is described in the texts, than on its analysis.
