At the same time an investigative perspective is sketched, it allows to consider in its communicative and symbolic dimension, the processes that take place in the urban public spaces.El presente texto plantea algunas consideraciones sobre la idea de producción social del espacio público y su configuración como espacio político a través de dos disposiciones de los actores sociales: dramatúrgica y escenográfica. A partir de éstas es posible leer las relaciones de poder que se establecen entre los procesos de planificación urbana y los usos y apropiaciones de los espacios públicos.
