Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2019Para determinar el origen de la presente investigación, es importante reconocer la manera como el impacto de una población y su cultura generan la transformación del territorio que habita, y partiendo de esta premisa, relacionarla con una preocupación a nivel mundial, el recurso hídrico y la necesidad de generar estrategias para su gestión de manera integral. Todo esto como antecedente para el análisis del Área metropolitana Centro Occidente, que a pesar de ser considerada como un territorio con riqueza ambiental, caracterizado por un sistema de áreas protegidas fuertemente configuradas, existen zonas por fuera de esta delimitación que generan dinámicas importantes con relación a la problemática de la gestión del recurso hídrico. Es por esto que se hace necesaria una aproximación a una escala mayor donde aparece la Eco Región del Eje Cafetero que permite reconocer las fuentes hídricas más importantes, como parte de un sistema estructurante complejo. De otra parte, el resultado del cruce de variables, define a Dosquebradas como zona de intervención debido a los conflictos relacionados con la gestión del agua en cada una de las fases del ciclo de uso (captación, distribución, consumo y vertimientos) y se plantea una propuesta urbana que permita retomar las dinámicas y determinantes culturales de la población en desarrollo de estrategias para la mitigación de la problemática ambiental. Proponiendo un objeto arquitectónico por cada uno de las fases del ciclo El proceso finaliza con la proyección de un objeto arquitectónico que represente la identidad de los usuarios por fuera de la edad productiva, permita transformación de los vertimientos para beneficio económico y desarrolle espacios para la educación ambiental en toda la población Abstract: To determine the origin of the present investigation, it is important to recognize that the impact of a population and its culture generate the transformation of the territory it inhabits, and starting from this premise, relate it to a global concern, the water resource and the need to generate strategies for its management in a comprehensive manner. All this as background for the analysis of the Central West Metropolitan Area, which despite being considered as a territory with environmental richness, characterized by a system of strongly configured protected areas, there are areas outside this delimitation that generate important dynamics in relation to the problem of water resource management. That is why it is necessary an approximation to a larger scale where the Eco Region of the Coffee Axis appears that allows to read the most important water sources, as part of a complex structuring system. Finally, the result of the crossing of variables, defines Dosquebradas as an intervention zone. Due to conflicts related to water management in each of the phases of the cycle (collection, distribution, consumption and discharges). An urban proposal is proposed that allows retaking the dynamics and cultural determinants of the population in developing strategies for the mitigation of environmental degradation.
