This article hasas objective to describe the quality of the services provided in the rural andurban accommodations, using a structured checklist according to the lawNTSH 006, for the owners and administrators with a view of proposing somerecommendations to increase the quality of hotel service provided by themunicipality. There are low levels of certification among the hotels participants:only the 32% of the accommodations counts with any. The quality processes arepresent in factors as edification, security, the room and their baths, maintenanceand reservations.Los alojamientos se constituyen en un factor impulsor de los desplazamientos turísticos alrededor del mundo y resultan críticos para la captación de turistas en Colombia; en particular, en el municipio de Santa Rosa de Cabal. Este articulo tiene como objetivo describir la calidad de los servicios prestados en los alojamientos rurales y urbanos, usando una lista de chequeo estructurada, de acuerdo con la norma NTSH 006, dirigida a los administradores y propietarios, con miras a proponer algunas recomendaciones para elevar la calidad del servicio hotelero prestado en el municipio. Se encuentran bajos niveles de certificación entre los hoteles partícipes: tan solo el 32% de los alojamientos cuenta con alguna.
