El objetivo de la presente investigación fue identificar la relación entre las funciones ejecutivas (FE) y la Interferencia Cognitivo Motora (ICM) en adultos jóvenes y explorar la predicción de las Funciones Ejecutivas (FE) sobre la ICM, se usó un diseño No-Experimental con 63 participantes, (hombres 16; y mujeres 47) con Medad =18.6 DE=2.7. Las FE se evaluaron a partir de la Fluidez Verbal Fonológica (letras S y M) y Semántica (Animales), Trail Making Test (TMT), Go No-Go; para la evaluación de la ICM se usaron tres condiciones de las Tareas Duales (motor, motor-motor, motor-cognitivo). Los resultados indican una correlación negativa significativa entre la fluidez verbal semántica y la tarea motora-motora. Así mismo, se encontró que el único modelo que puede predecir la relación entre las FE y la ICM en este estudio, es la prueba de fluidez verbal semántica, siendo este un modelo explicativo insuficiente para predecir dicha relación. Concluimos que las FE y ICM parecen no tener una relación significativa. Se requieren más investigaciones con otras condiciones (e.g. deportistas) y diferentes ciclos vitales que puedan proporcionar una oportunidad para comprender el paradigma de la Interferencia Cognitivo Motora (ICM). The objective of this research was to identify the relationship between executive functions (EF) and Cognitive Motor Interference (ICM) in young adults and explore the prediction of Executive Functions (EF) on ICM, a Non-Experimental design was used. with 63 participants, (men 16; and women 47) with Average = 18.6 SD = 2.7. EFs were evaluated from Phonological Verbal Fluency (letters S and M) and Semantics (Animals), Trail Making Test (TMT), Go NoGo; For the evaluation of ICM, three conditions of the Dual Tasks were used (motor, motormotor, motor-cognitive). The results indicate a significant negative correlation between semantic verbal fluency and the motor-motor task. Likewise, it was found that the only model that can predict the relationship between EF and ICM in this study is the semantic verbal fluency test, this being an insufficient explanatory model to predict said relationship. We conclude that FE and ICM appear not to have a significant relationship.
