Forthis reason, it pretends to stablish the differencebetween the writing as a gesture of imitation ofimplicit models in the calligraphic teaching and thewriting as a creative act that is only directed to thewise members of the letters republic. Therefore, Ipropose to do an analysis of the authority problemsince the practice in which the writing is consolidated,the reading and the calligraphy.Este artículo intenta estudiar el problema de la autoridad en el contexto de una sociedad ilustrada como la del Nuevo Reino de Granada a principios del siglo XIX. Por ello, pretende establecer la diferencia entre la escritura como gesto e imitación de modelos implícita en la enseñanza caligráfica y la escritura como acto creativo al que solo estaban destinados los sabios miembros de la república de las letras.
