This article describes the design procedure, monumentation and measuring system traversing inside the campus of Universidad del Quindío, with classical instruments, which is used as a framework to support the surveying and mapping work of the institution, under technical requirements to support their relative and absolute precision through coordinates determined on the horizontal reference system for Colombia: Datum MAGNA-SIRGAS. The methodology was structured under the theory of errors, defining the limit of the uncertainties expected in terms of the technical characteristics of measuring instruments, the geometry of the polygon, and designs of measurement methods. Interesting findings were obtained in terms of error propagation and ellipses, because of their magnitudes, shapes and orientations defined the direction of strengthening the geometric framework. |

Interesting findings were obtained in terms of error propagation and ellipses, because of their magnitudes, shapes and orientations defined the direction of strengthening the geometric framework.Este trabajo describe el procedimiento de diseño, monumentación y medición de un sistema de poligonación al interior del campus de la Universidad del Quindío, con instrumental clásico, que servirá como marco de referencia para el soporte de los trabajos topográficos y cartográficos de la institución, bajo requisitos técnicos que soporten sus precisiones relativa y absoluta, a través de coordenadas determinadas sobre el sistema de referencia horizontal para Colombia: Datum MAGNA-SIRGAS. La metodología se estructuró bajo la Teoría de Errores, definiendo el límite de las incertidumbres esperadas en función de las características técnicas de los instrumentos de medida, la configuración geométrica del polígono, los métodos y diseños de medición. Se lograron hallazgos interesantes en términos de la propagación del error y sus elipses, debido a que sus magnitudes, formas y orientaciones definieron la dirección de fortalecimiento geométrico del marco de referencia.Este trabalho descreve o procedimento de projeção, monumentation e medição de um sistema de poligonação ao interior do campus de a Universidade de Quindío, com instrumental clássico, que servira como um quadro de referência para o suporte dos trabalhos topográficos e cartográficos da instituição, sob-requisitos técnicos que suportem suas precisões relativa e absoluta, através de coordenadas determinadas sobre o sistema de referencia horizontal para Colômbia: Datum MAGNA-SIRGAS. A metodologia se estruturou sob a Teoria de Erros, definindo o limite das incertezas esperadas em função das características técnicas dos instrumentos de medida, a configuração geométrica do polígono, os métodos e projetos de medição.
