La contaminación agrícola se genera por abonos orgánicos, plaguicidas, fertilizantes y pesticidas, así como el uso inadecuado de aguas de riego pueden producir contaminación del suelo y de las aguas subterráneas, tanto así, que, según el IGAC en Belén de Umbría, gran cantidad de los suelos ya están sobrecargados, generando inestabilidades por las fuertes producciones agrícolas y ganaderas. Todo esto como antecedente para el análisis de Belén de Umbría, que, a pesar de ser considerado con grandes riquezas ambientales y paisajísticas, debido a la presencia de PCC (Paisaje Cultural Cafetero) sobre el territorio, estas mismas afectan en mayor medida a la preservación del mismo. El proceso de la investigación finaliza en la proyección de un diseño arquitectónico que represente la protección y preservación del medio natural, a través de procesos educativos y prácticos, que transforme la materia prima encontrada en Belén de Umbría para el fortalecimiento del medio ambiente y la preservación de la vida por la baja calidad del agua, a causa de las contaminación, es decir, todo esto para desarrollar espacios para la educación ambiental en toda la población del Belén de Umbría y sus municipios mas cercanos, ya que es un proyecto de gran impacto, para la época en la que se encuentra y por sus principales características./ Abstract: In the present work, the municipality of Belén de Umbría, located in the department of Risaralda, will be explored. The aspects for which agriculture and livestock farming have a great impact on the natural environment will be identified, due to the pollution they generate. on the ground, rivers and the atmosphere in general. Agricultural pollution is generated by organic fertilizers, pesticides, fertilizers and pesticides, as well as the inappropriate use of irrigation water can produce contamination of the soil and groundwater, so much so that according to the IGAC in Belén de Umbría, a large number of the Soils are already overloaded, generating instabilities due to strong agricultural and livestock production.
