El no hacerlo, genera consecuencias negativas en el proyecto tales como retrasos en las entregas, aumento de los costos asociados a reprocesos en la ejecución de los mismos y difícil trazabilidad, haciendo del trabajo con los requisitos algo complejo y difícil de controlar. Sin embargo, considerando que cada herramienta tiene diferentes grados de madurez para ser implementadas en proyectos de software, es importante estudiar sus características para identificar aquellas herramientas que proporcionen un mayor control en el mantenimiento de los requisitos. \ Abstract: In a software project, a set of requirements are elicited and inconveniences are evidenced when managing them if there is no use of specialized software that speeds up and facilitates the work with them. Failure to do so generates negative consequences in the project such as delays in deliveries, increased costs associated with reprocessing in the execution of the same and difficult traceability, making the work with the requirements somewhat complex and difficult to control. However, considering that each tool has different degrees of maturity to be implemented in software projects, it is important to study its characteristics to identify those tools that provide greater control in the maintenance of the requirements.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
