Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2018El presente trabajo de investigación, fue un estudio de alcance descriptivo con enfoque cuantitativo y muestreo intencional que tuvo como objetivo evaluar y describir los niveles de interacción positiva y negativa Trabajo -Familia. Esto se hizo con el fin de identificar el estado de conciliación en las madres cabeza de hogar operarias de una fábrica del sector textil en Risaralda. Las participantes fueron 144 madres, sin límite de edad. Se aplicó una encuesta de caracterización sociodemográfica y el cuestionario de Interacción Trabajo-Familia (SWING). Como resultado principal se obtuvo un nivel de conciliación alto (51%), entre la variable Trabajo- Familia, así mismo se encontró un nivel medio de conflicto (44%) entre estas variables que indica que existen factores laborales que están dificultando el funcionamiento familiar. Finalmente se concluye que los recursos proporcionados por la organización no son suficientes para cubrir las demandas que tienen las madres, y se hacen algunas recomendaciones haciendo énfasis en la necesidad de que el fenómeno de la conciliación sea visibilizado con mayor rigor para lograr un equilibrio entre la vida laboral y familiar./ Abstract: The present research work was a descriptive study with a quantitative approach and intentional sampling that aimed to evaluate and describe the levels of positive and negative interaction Work -Family in order to identify the state of conciliation in the mothers head of household workers of a textile factory in Risaralda. The participants were 144 mothers, with no age limit. A sociodemographic characterization survey and the Work-Family Interaction Questionnaire (SWING) were applied. As the main result, a high conciliation level (51%) was obtained, between the Work-Family variables, there was also found a (44%) of medium level conflict among these variables that indicates that there are labor factors that are hindering family functioning. Finally, it is concluded that the resources provided by the organization are not enough to cover the demands of the mothers, and some recommendations are made emphasizing the need for the phenomenon of conciliation to be more rigorously visualized in order to achieve a balance between the work and family life.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
