Los sistemas de información permiten tener más rapidez en los momentos en que, por una necesidad de las reglas de la organización, sea necesario solucionar un problema de manera diferente a como se venía enfrentando. El Centro de Innovación Educativa de la Universidad Católica de Pereira, actualmente realiza el préstamo de los espacios que tiene asignados, utilizando un formato en papel en donde se incluyen los datos necesarios para realizar la reserva. Debido a esto, se hace necesario que este proceso se pueda apoyar en un sistema de información que permita adaptarse a las necesidades actuales, en donde la mayor parte de la información se está manipulando a través de aplicaciones digitales que automatizan los procesos, de manera que se pueda hacer lo mismo en menos pasos, en ambientes donde el factor tiempo es indispensable. El objetivo de este proyecto es diseñar un sistema de información para la gestión de la reserva y préstamo de espacios en el Centro de Innovación Educativa de la Universidad de Católica de Pereira. En este contexto, aprovechando las posibilidades que ofrecen los recursos informáticos, se puede agilizar el trabajo complejo, se eliminan elementos redundantes y se reduce el número de pasos para llevar a cabo el proceso de reservas. Simplificar los entornos facilita la gestión y permite reaccionar más rápidamente a los cambios. Finalmente, pensando en la sistematización de la información para la gestión de la reserva y préstamo de espacios en el Centro de Innovación Educativa, se presenta un software de gestión para los procesos ya mencionados diseñado para agilizar y mejorar su grado de utilización y manteniendo la máxima flexibilidad en todo momento. / Abstract:All the processes that search, to achieve an objective are focused on finding the best methods to minimize errors, improve performance and response time of each of the steps implemented to solve the problems of each organization. Information systems allow more rapidity at times when, due to a need for the organization rules, it is necessary to solve a problem in a different way from how it was being faced. The Centro de Innovación Educativa de la Universidad Católica de Pereira currently makes loans for the spaces it has assigned using a paper format that includes the necessary data to make the reservation. Due to this, it is necessary that this process can be supported by an information system that allows it to adapt to current needs where most of the information is being manipulated through digital applications that automate the processes so that it can be do the same in fewer steps, in environments where the time factor is essential. The objective of this project is to design an information system for the management of the reservation and loan of spaces in the educational innovation center of the Universidad de Católica de Pereira. In this context, taking advantage of the possibilities offered by computing resources, complex work can be streamlined, redundant elements are eliminated and the number of steps to carry out the reservation process is reduced. Simplifying environments makes management easier and allows you to react more quickly to changes. Finally, thinking about the systematization of the information for the management of the reservation and loan of spaces in the Innovation Center, a management software is presented for the aforementioned processes designed to speed up and improve their degree of use while maintaining maximum flexibility at all times; all this in order to adapt mainly to current needs.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
