La historia colombiana ha mostrado a lo largo de los años que el desempeño en las pruebas internas y externas en comprensión lectora han sido de bajo nivel; por tanto, varios docentes se han visto en la compleja situación de autoevaluarse y verificar cuáles son las dificultades en esta competencia. La práctica docente se reinventa al modernizarse, lo que exige que el docente pueda transformar la práctica pedagógica por medio de la innovación tecnológica (uso de las TIC), para mejorar la comprensión lectora de los estudiantes teniendo en cuenta tres agentes fundamentales: el lector, el texto y el contexto. Por ello, es importante hacer esta reflexión basados en la pedagogía conceptual, la cual enseña a educar seres humanos plenos en relación con lo afectivo y brillantes cognitivamente. Estas herramientas tecnológicas acercan al educando a su cotidianidad; es decir, traen su mundo inmediato y lo ponen en el punto de partida para el aprendizaje. Con dichos recursos se pretende promover el interés por parte de los chicos y ampliar el abanico de técnicas de uso tradicional, todo con el fin de cautivar a niños y jóvenes que tienen diferentes tipos de aprendizajes, logrando que sean ellos los actores principales del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Abstract: The comprehensive reading project mediated by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) seeks to improve the reading comprehension of different textual typologies in students of Basic Primary and Technical Media, through the use of technological tools in the areas of Spanish, Entrepreneurship and Physics, from the Educational Institutions La Julita Educational Complex, the Word School and San Vicente Hogar, located in the city of Pereira. Colombian history has shown over the years that performance on internal and external tests in reading comprehension has been low; therefore, several teachers have found themselves in the complex situation of evaluating themselves and verifying what are the difficulties in this competence. Teaching practice reinvents itself with modernization, which requires that the teacher can transform pedagogical practice through technological innovation (use of ICT), to improve the reading comprehension of students taking into account three fundamental agents: the reader, the text and context. For this reason, it is important to make this reflection based on conceptual pedagogy, which teaches to educate full human beings in relation to the affective and cognitively brilliant. These technological tools bring the student closer to their daily lives; that is, they bring their immediate world and put it as the starting point for the learning.
