Se usaron dos cuestionarios para evaluar las variables, se encontraron correlaciones leves y moderadas. Los resultados no correlacionan representativamente el uso problemático de las redes sociales online con una percepción negativa de la imagen corporal, lo que permitiría evaluar la manera en que los jóvenes están llevando la relación con su imagen corporal y los contenidos actuales de las RSO, así como una posible minimización del uso de estas. Abstract: The objective of this study was to identify the relationship between the problematic use of online social networks and the perception of body image in a group of young university students, a sample of 322 people (223 women and 99 men) was used, with an average 20.6 years old (SD=2.03). Two questionnaires were used to evaluate the variables, mild and moderate correlations were found. The results do not representatively correlate the problematic use of online social networks with a negative perception of body image, which would allow evaluating the way in which young people are dealing with their body image and the current contents of the RSO, as well as a possible minimization of their use.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
