En desarrollo de esta investigación se pretende seguir el rastro y contar, como enfoque principal, quiénes fueron los diez técnicos de nacionalidad cubana que vinieron en el año 1954 al país, para colaborar en la implementación y puesta en marcha de la televisión en Colombia. Se trata de un grupo de técnicos que fueron contratados, por un mes, por Fernando Gómez Agudelo, conocido como el ‘padre de la televisión nacional’ y por encargo del entonces presidente general Gustavo Rojas Pinilla. Estos diez ciudadanos cubanos tenían todo el conocimiento base, sobre la producción y realización de contenido para la televisión. Los técnicos llegaron a poner en marcha este medio de comunicación que se implementó en la sociedad colombiana, con el fin de establecer una mejor comunicación entre los gobernantes. Esta investigación se realizó con el fin de obtener un conocimiento más profundo acerca de toda la producción detrás de las primeras transmisiones de la televisión y conocer quiénes fueron estos técnicos que decidieron viajar desde su país natal, para ser pioneros de la televisión en nuestro país. Para la recuperación de datos han sido importantes las entrevistas realizadas en esta primera fase con: Antonio Ochoa, investigador e historiador de la televisión colombiana, Felipe Arias, coautor del libro La historia de una travesía, los 40 años de la televisión colombiana investigador de la televisión colombiana, Daniel Camargo, coautor del libro La historia de una travesía, los 40 años de la televisión colombiana, Luis Alfonso Rodríguez, Jefe de Gestión Cultural de Señal Memoria, Jorge Mario Vera, director de fotografía y restaurador de Señal Memoria; Ernesto García, camarógrafo de RTVC, hijo de Robal García, técnico cubano que vino a Colombia en 1954; Fernando Virgos Virgos camarógrafo de nacionalidad cubana. Abstract: The recreation of the historical memory is the guiding thread by which, we believe, it is important to develop this research. This research tries to investigate a part of the history of Colombian television. In the development of this research we intend to follow the trail and tell, as main focus, who were the 10 technicians of Cuban nationality who came in 1954 to the country, to collaborate in the implementation and kick-off of television in Colombia. They were a group of technicians who were hired for a month by Fernando Gomez Agudelo, known as the father of national television and commissioned by former President General Gustavo Rojas Pinilla. The Cuban citizens had the knowledge needed for due production and creation of content for television. This research was conducted in order to obtain a deeper knowledge of the works behind the first television transmissions and to understand who were these technicians who decided to travel from their native country to be pioneers of television in our country.
