Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2015Los conceptos y las teorías para acercarse a los fenómenos psicológicos han evolucionado con el tiempo, de este modo la psicología conductual ha pasado por diferentes generaciones. La conducta ludópata es un fenómeno que representa un problema de salud que ha tenido pocos tratamientos con resultados eficaces. El presente artículo es un estudio teórico, en el cual se pretende abordar el fenómeno de la ludopatía a la luz de las teorías conductuales de primera segunda y tercera generación. De esta manera, se retoma un caso clínico publicado con el fin de identificar las alternativas que cada una de las generaciones de intervención conductual ofrece para la solución de este tipo de problemas psicológicos, para así señalar las ventajas y las desventajas de cada una. /Abstract: The concepts and theories for approaching to psychological phenomena have evolved through time; thereby behavioral psychology has passed several generations. The gambling behavior is a phenomenon that represents a health problem that has few treatments with effective results. This article is a theoretical study, which aims to address the phenomenon of problem gambling on the light of behavioral theories of first, second and third generation. Thus, one published case in order to identify alternatives that each of the generations of behavioral intervention provides for the settlement of this type of psychological problems, thereby pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of each are resumed.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
