Some aspects on the Colombian Electrical System are considered, the potential of renewable energy sources by regions and the evaluation quality energy in a test microgrid. Load-fl ow simulations were carried out, in which one of the main contributions the microgrids was checked in terms of reducing power losses and improving the voltage profi les.En este artículo se presenta una propuesta de integración de arquitecturas de generación descentralizada en ambientes de micro-redes que incluye el aporte de fuentes de energía renovable, tanto para zonas del Sistema Interconectado Nacional, como para Zonas No Interconectadas. Se consideran algunos aspectos del Sistema Eléctrico Colombiano, el potencial de fuentes renovables de energía por regiones y la evaluación de la calidad de la energía en una micro-red de prueba. Se efectuaron simulaciones de fl ujo de carga en donde se comprobó uno de los principales aportes de las micro-redes en términos de reducción de pérdidas de potencia y mejoramiento de los perfi les de tensión.Neste artigo é apresentada uma proposta para a integração de arquiteturas de geração descentralizada em ambientes de micro-redes que inclui a contribuição de fontes de energia renováveis, tanto para o Sistema Interconectado Nacional, como para Áreas Não Interconectadas. São considerados alguns aspectos do Sistema Elétrico Colombiano, o potencial de fontes de energia renováveis por regiões e a avaliação da qualidade da energia em uma micro-rede de teste.
