In this process was carried out an extensive exploration of previous work and it wastaken into account the work done by Amartya Sen (2001), Martha Nussbaum (2012)and Manfred Max Neef (1998), who have performed some research related to humandevelopment and quality of life. They agree to specify that the human being is the centerof society and civilization, pointing with respect to human development a frameworkthat allows to live in dignity, as the needs, capabilities and the concept of a worthy life.Some research and articles were also presented in which are developed themes as theconflict work - family, quality of life, the situation of postgraduate studies in Colombia,among other topics The Primary data collection was carried out through the application of an online surveyto the civil servants enrolled in the administrative career in the mayoralty of Tuluáand from the information gathered it was performed an analysis of the data against theinitial approach and some conclusions were made from this

El estudio fue llevado a cabo en la alcaldía del municipio de Tuluá, con los funcionarios inscritos en carrera administrativa que laboran actualmente allí. La recolección de la información se realizó a través de la aplicación de una encuesta on-line a los funcionarios. Se resalta los avances obtenidos en los procesos de formación de profesionales que encuentran en la educación el motor para seguir avanzando en su proyecto de vida. En este proceso se llevó a cabo una extensa exploración de trabajos anteriores y se ha tenido en cuenta el trabajo realizado por Amartya Sen (2001), Martha Nussbaum (2012) y Manfred Max Neef (1998), que han realizado algunas investigaciones relacionadas con el desarrollo humano y la calidad de vida. Están de acuerdo en especificar que el ser humano es el centro de la sociedad y la civilización, señalando con respecto al desarrollo humano de un marco que permita vivir con dignidad, ya que las necesidades, las capacidades y el concepto de una vida digna. Algunas investigaciones y artículos fueron a su vez presentados y desarrollados en los trabajos conflicto - familia, calidad de vida, la situación de los estudios de postgrado en Colombia, entre otros temas.
