De manera cercana se darán a conocer testimonios de personas que han utilizado las alternativas y expertos que dan fe de cada una de sus prácticas. En el documental se expone el nivel al que los colombianos han llegado para buscar una cura. Cómo un sistema de salud ineficaz pone en riesgo a todo un país, cómo ponen a suerte su integridad física e incluso cómo un milagro llega antes que una cita médica.The Cure is Worse than the Disease exposes the ineffectiveness of the Colombian health system, showing how citizens seek alternatives such as self-medication, homeopathy and the Gregorian cults to find a cure for their ailments. First hand testimonies of people who have used the alternatives, and experts who give faith in each of their practices, are displayed.
